With lockdown being enforced in many countries across the globe, life as we know it has changed dramatically. Parks are empty, the pubs are closed and there’s not been any sports on tv in bloody ages!!
As countries go through different stages of lockdown in their attempt to battle ‘the virus’, there have been some hilarious situations arise as we try to hold on to the last remnants of the old ways we called normal.
Sporting venues have been majorly impacted because it is no longer possible to have mass crowds in confined spaces. This has resulted in games being played behind ‘closed doors’ i.e. with no crowds, and then only televising the match.
Of course it looks weird with major teams playing with no crowds, no atmosphere to the match and it is a difficult aspect to manually replicate. That being said, it hasn’t stopped everyone.
FC Seoul placed 30 sex doll mannequins around it’s stadium for a game against Gwangju FC, adding signs of life to stands void of spectators because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The action on the field must not have been that great. People watching quickly noticed that some of the fake fans wore clothing advertising sex toys and that many of them were especially busty. As the BBC noted, pornography is banned in South Korea.
The Seoul club said in a statement it believed the figures were ordinary mannequins.
FC Seoul didn’t explain why it chose Dalkom, a company known for sex dolls, for the job. They did however make this comment “We had tried to add some fun in the no-spectator match,” FC Seoul said in a statement, according to The New York Times. “But we have not checked all the details, and that is clearly our fault.”
Bringing 30 sex dolls to a closed door football game – yep there’s no getting out of that one!!
FC Seoul could face consequences beyond embarrassment. The league has a rule against inappropriate or sexual advertisements, so the team could be fined. The fine includes one sex doll to be paid to each of the members of the governing body …. No questions asked …..
How many sex dolls have you bought to get you through lockdown, let us know in the comments below!
